My name is Juliana Bontrager and I am a senior at Harbor High School. I will graduate in June of 2014. I am requesting a letter of recommendation from you for my use in seeking employment, college and training opportunities. I would appreciate having this letter by March 10th 2014. Please let me know if you can provide this letter for me. I appreciate your time and attention.
I am enrolled in the Regional Occupational Program class, Graphic Design, which is in the media arts sector. Last year, I was enrolled in ROP Photography. My ROP classes have given me a closer look at the professional side of media arts and today’s industry. The top work skills that are sure to be noticed in my work are: · My ability to work well under pressure · My ability to be both a leader and a team player · My attention to detail · Basic design skills in Adobe Creative Suite · Photography skills (digital, analog and editing comprehension) My teachers and employers have acknowledged my strong work ethic and communication skills. Upon graduating high school, I plan on attending California Baptist University with a major in Graphic Design and Media Arts and a minor in Behavioral Science. After graduating, I hope to get a job as the Graphic Designer for a church, creating the artwork for their weekly programs and events. Throughout high school, I have been involved in many extra curricular activities. I have been training in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and International Latin at Dancenter for 14 years. I am the president of the dance company Escapade, here at Harbor High. I have also choreographed three of the spring musicals and I am in production for the fourth. Through my years of dance, I have learned to express myself artistically in a professional environment. My resume shows some of my skills and abilities I have acquired while attending Harbor High School and through my work experience. I have gained valuable work-experience in my part time job as a children’s dance instructor at The Tannery World Dance and Cultural Center and in my volunteer work at the Santa Cruz SPCA. |
